Attempting to define a vlog is more difficult than one would think. Wikipedia has their own definition:
A video blog or video log, usually shortened to vlog /ˈvlɒɡ/, is a form of blog for which the medium is video, and is a form of web television. Vlog entries often combine embedded video (or a video link) with supporting text, images, and other metadata. Entries can be recorded in one take or cut into multiple parts. The vlog category is popular on YouTube.
A great review vlog that I enjoy comes from Unbox Therapy. Lewis Hilsenteger opens a number of products that may intrigue your desire for technology. Some of these items, you may have legit interest in buying while others are pure technolust dreams.
This style of vlogging takes a look across technology while giving their opinion of the products. Some tech review vloggers stay behind the camera while others get right in front and guide you through their synopsis of the toys!
Ok, back to Lewis. One of the reasons I really like his vlog is for the excitement that he shows. This episode below shows him unboxing a very expensive, ridiculously large bluetooth speaker. Enjoy!
Unbox Therapy doesn’t just look at the outrageously expensive but also looking at common technology and even lower cost options.
